Rajma Potato Gravy is a traditional gravy which suits all occasions.
Rajma Chawal is an iconic dish ,which stays the favourite of many .
Rajma cooked with Potatoes is simply drooling which is easy to make and stays as good choice for lunch box addition too.
Ingredients :
- Rajma 150 gms(soaked overnight )
- Potatoes 2(cubed )
- Tomatoes 2(chopped )
- Onion 1(chopped )
- Turmeric 1/4tsp
- Chilly Powder 1/2-3/4tsp
- Mustard 1/4 tsp
- Urad dhal 1/4 tsp
- Curry leaves a few
- Red chilly 2
- Oil 1tsp
- Salt to taste
Method :
- In a pressure cooker cook rajma under pressure with potatoes ,tomatoes ,turmeric powder chilly powder , salt and water .
- In a kadai heat oil ,throw in mustard ,urad dhal ,curry leaves ,red chilly ,onions and fry well.
- Add a couple spoons of cooked rajma and potatoes ,smash well .
- Now add the remaining rajma and cook well till raw smell leaves.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with roti , rice .
