Spicy yummy cabbage !!
The vegetable is enriched with flavour and makes a wholesome meal.
Ingredients :
- Cabbage 1 cup
- Onions few
- Tomato 1
- Curry leaves few
- Turmeric ¼ tsp
- Red chilly powder ¼ tsp
- Mustard ¼ tsp
- Urad dhal ¼ tsp
- Oil ½ tsp
- Salt to taste
Grind to taste :
- Coconut 1 ½ tbsp.
- Fennel ½ tsp
- Garlic 1
Method :
- In a pan heat oil add mustard ,urad dhal allow it to splutter.
- Add onions ,curry leaves allow it to brown.
- Add tomato allow it to get mushy.
- Add cabbage , turmeric and red chilly powder and toss .
- Add the ground paste and toss ,close and cook till soft.
- Fry till water evaporates.
- Serve hot with rice / roti.
