A bowl of iron goodness !!

Moringa leaf is packed with iron , cooked with dhal leaves a simple yet nutritious soup.

Highly Recommended. !!

Ingredients :

  • Moringa Leaves 1 cup
  • Moong Dhal 11/2 tbsp
  • Small onions a few ( chopped )
  • Tomato 1 ( chopped )
  • Garlic 2 pearls ( chopped )
  • Fennel ¼ tsp
  • Ghee 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper a pinch ( optional )

Method :

  • Heat ghee in a pan ,add fennel ,allow it to splutter .
  • Add onions and toss.
  • Now add garlic and tomato one after another and toss.
  • Add the moringa leaves and toss.
  • Add required water with the moong dhal and stir.
  • Add salt give it a good mix ,close and cook , stirring occasionally.
  • Now when the moringa and dhal is soft ,switch off the flame.
  • Serve hot .
