Mutton Chutney is a very versatile for its a good combination with anything and everything be it rice, roti,iddly,dosa or bread.It can never but take off in any spread.Be it guests or the family will definetly ask about it for the second time .Last but not the least a second helping is inevitable.
Ingredients :-
- Mutton 250 gms
- Red chilly 6-7 (to taste )
- Ginger ¾ ‘’ – 1‘’
- Garlic 7-8 pearls
- Cinnamon 1’’
- Cloves 2-3
- Vinegar 1 -2 tbsp ( according to taste )
To Season :-
- Oil ½ tsp
- Mustard ½ tsp
- Urad dhal ½ tsp
- Curry leaves a few
- Red chilly 1
Method :-
- In a cooker sauté the mutton pieces.(minced meat can also be used )
- To it add all the other ingredients and cook for 7-8 whistles.
- Now check if its soft /cooked well.
- If in case water is there ,fry till its almost dry.
- Now transfer it to a mixer jar and blend it by adding vinegar ,if need be it.
- Now can season it with mustard ,ursd dhal ,chilly and curry leaves.
Note :-
- Vinegar can be substituted with tamarind or lime juice.
- This can be stored for 4-5 days.
- If one does ‘nt not prefer cinnamom and cloves ,then it can be omited.
