Protein enriched with addition of moringa /drumstick leaves makes it more healthy.Also moringa gives a different and enriched flavor .
Ingredients :
- Toor Dhal 3/4 cup
- Rice 1 cup
- Red Chilly 4
- Ginger ½ “
- Cumin ¾ tsp
- Curry leaves a few
- Asfoetida ½ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves a bunch
- Oinons 1 ( chopped)
- Moringa leaves a cup (optional )
Method :
- Soak dhal and rice together for min of 3 hours .
- Grind the ginger, red chilly ,curry leaves, asfoetida with salt together first.
- Then add the rice and dhal and grind to a coarse paste.
- Chop coriander leaves , onions, moringa to the batter.
- Mix well and make thick dosa .
- Serve hot with onion chutney.
